“Earth Day” was celebrated on April 22nd. Today is May 18th. Why am I just now getting around to writing my Earth Day post? Well, the reason is simple: everyday should be Earth Day.
Why I do want I do is because I think it helps companies and we donate back to organizations that plant trees.
On April 22nd I volunteered to help with a tree planting that was put on by Keeping Indianapolis Beautiful Inc. As a group, we planted 62 trees at the intersection of MLK and 30th St. I highly suggest volunteering with a KIB tree planting. They teach you the proper way to plant a tree to make sure it has the greatest chance to grow and be strong, long lasting tree.
